You can start making some desserts one or two days before the event.
To make a beautiful tea pot arrangement use a small container with water to put inside the tea pot, instead of directly putting the flowers and water inside the tea pot. This will help maintain a clean tea pot for future use.
These are some of the desserts that you can use to make your tea party look spectacular. Some items you can even make, for example cupcakes and the mini cheesecake and cookies. The madeleines you can buy them and just add chocolate to make them look prettier, same with strawberries just add chocolate.
